Theo Delaney is a prolific, award-winning commercials director and content creator. He has made ads and digital content all over the world for numerous agencies, brands and organizations.
He began his career as a journalist writing for publications like FHM, The Guardian, Campaign and Creative Review. He was the News Editor of Direction Magazine at the age of 21.
Through his writing he met the director Tony Kaye who gave him his first break as a filmmaker and after spells at Spots and Tomboy Films he set up Hotspur and Argyle in 2002 with producer Danny Fleet.
As well as numerous TV commercials Theo has devised and executed a range of digital content across web and mobile platforms for clients like O2, The Football Association, 3 Mobile, Tottenham Hotspur, Betfair and Coca Cola.
Agencies and advertisers employ his expertise and experience in creating content that attracts big, clearly defined audiences often at the earliest stage in the process and he is founding partner of Watchable.
He has won awards at The Cannes International Festival, D&AD, British Television Advertising Awards, Sports Business awards and Creative Circle among many others.
